In 13 Going on 30 (2004), Jenna Rink experiences a humiliating thirteenth birthday party and yearns to fast-forward to adulthood. Miraculously, her wish comes true thanks to some magical wishing dust. Jenna wakes up as a thirty-year-old woman with a stunning body, a luxurious apartment, a glamorous wardrobe, a successful career, an attractive athlete boyfriend, and a circle of famous friends. Initially, she believes she has it all and that this is the perfect life.

However, she soon realizes that this adult version of herself is not what she truly wanted. Determined to reconnect with Matt and make things right, Jenna sets out on a journey to find him.
