In the movie Saving Santa (2013), Bernard D. Elf is an eccentric and ambitious elf with dreams of becoming an inventor. However, his latest creation, which aims to bring back people's favorite Christmas memories, fails miserably. Feeling like a fool, Bernard longs for an opportunity to prove his worth.
Soon enough, he gets his chance when Santa Claus is kidnapped by the evil Neville Baddington and his demanding mother, Vera. Neville and Vera are determined to uncover Santa's secret of how he delivers presents to children around the world in just one night. Unbeknownst to them, Santa uses a time traveling device to accomplish this feat.
