In Bruce Almighty, Bruce Nolan, a popular television reporter in Buffalo, New York, finds himself dissatisfied with his life despite his fame and loving girlfriend Grace. After experiencing the worst day of his life, Bruce angrily expresses his frustration towards God. Miraculously, God appears in human form and decides to give Bruce divine powers to see if he can handle the responsibilities any better.
