Terminator Salvation is a 2009 science fiction movie set in the year 2018. After a failed attack on a Skynet facility, the only survivor, John Connor, learns that Skynet is developing a new powerful model called T-800. Out of nowhere, a man named Marcus, who has amnesia, appears naked and befriends a teenager named Kyle Reese and a girl named Star. Together, they navigate a dangerous world filled with lethal machines as they try to survive.
The resistance discovers a signal that may have the ability to deactivate the machines, and John volunteers to test it. However, when Kyle is captured and taken to the Skynet headquarters, Marcus decides to help him and heads to Skynet. Along the way, he saves a woman named Blair Williams, who advises him to meet John Connor first. Unfortunately, Marcus steps on a mine and is forced to undergo surgery, during which a shocking secret about his origins is revealed.
Terminator Salvation offers an action-packed and suspenseful journey as the characters fight to survive in a post-apocalyptic world dominated by machines.
