In the futuristic city of Detroit in 2028, Alex Murphy, a dedicated police officer, is severely wounded while on duty. Seizing this opportunity, the powerful corporation OmniCorp decides to transform Murphy into a half-man, half-robot law enforcement officer, creating RoboCop. As RoboCop, Murphy retains his human consciousness and memories, but is now equipped with enhanced strength, agility, and advanced technology.
