In the movie Riot (2015), Copper Jack Stone devises a cunning plan to carry out a bank robbery, with the sole purpose of landing himself in prison alongside the infamous Russian criminal known as Balam. However, Balam is not just any ordinary mob kingpin – he holds immense power, controlling the police force from within the confines of the prison walls.
Within the prison, Balam lives a double life, masquerading as an inmate while exerting his true authority as the city's ultimate kingpin. His cell is a luxurious private room designed exclusively for him, and most people are unable to access this hidden fortress within the prison depths. Even the prison warden is fearful of venturing into Balam's domain.
Unbeknownst to Balam, Jack has a ulterior motive for infiltrating the prison - he seeks revenge for the cold-blooded murder of his family committed by Balam.
