In the movie Asterix och bautastensmällen, the beloved druid Panoramix finds himself in a precarious situation when he is attacked by Roman soldiers. Luckily, his loyal friend Obelix comes to his rescue by using his incredible strength to hurl a menhir at the soldiers. Unfortunately, in the chaos, the menhir accidentally hits Panoramix, causing him to lose his memory.

With Panoramix's memory now gone, he is unable to recall the formula for his magic potions, including the one that grants superhuman strength. This puts the entire village of Gaul in danger, as they rely on these potions for protection against their Roman adversaries.
