Diary of the Dead

The movie Diary of the Dead is a horror film that follows a group of film students and their professor from the University of Pittsburgh. While they are filming a mummy movie in a forest, they hear news on TV that the dead are coming back to life and walking around. One of the students, Jason, decides to go to his girlfriend Debra's dormitory. Unable to reach her family, they both set out in Mary's van to go to Debra's parents' house in Scranton, Pennsylvania. On their journey, they encounter a car accident and inadvertently run over a highway patrolman and three zombies trying to escape from them. This incident greatly affects Mary, who is a religious person, and she starts questioning her faith.

As they continue their journey, the group faces numerous challenges and encounters with the undead. With the use of handheld cameras, they document their experiences and add their personal perspectives to the footage. The movie explores themes of survival, morality, and the power of media in a post-apocalyptic world.
