Human Traffic is a lively and comedic film set in the 90s Cardiff club scene. The story revolves around a group of five best friends who spend their weekend dealing with relationships and personal struggles. Jip, the protagonist, considers himself a sexual paranoid and is plagued by his fear of impotence. His close friend Lulu, on the other hand, is not interested in men. Nina, another member of the group, despises her job at a fast food joint, while her boyfriend Koop dreams of becoming a renowned hip-hop DJ but is often consumed by jealous rages. Moff, the fifth friend, constantly faces criticism from his family due to his wild behavior.

The film takes viewers on a journey from Friday afternoon, when the friends begin preparing for a night of clubbing, to a chaotic and alcohol-fueled Saturday morning. The group experiences the highs and lows of ecstasy-induced fun followed by an eventual come-down. Throughout the weekend, they confront their personal demons and find solace in their friendships.

Human Traffic provides an entertaining and relatable portrayal of youth culture, friendship, and the challenges of navigating relationships. With its energetic soundtrack and vibrant club scenes, the film captures the spirit of the 90s rave scene and offers a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
