Huset andas historier, de sipprar ut genom sprickor i tapeterna, skratt i sängarna, vid en diskbänk. Mötet mellan Jane och Dilo väcker frågor om sorg, privilegier och vikten av queer gemenskap. In Som vi har älskat (2024), Butch Jane lives alone, surrounded by memories of another life. Dilo is forced to leave their city life after a denied asylum application and moves into Jane's house. The house holds stories, leaking through cracks in the wallpaper, laughter in the beds, and at the kitchen sink. The encounter between Jane and Dilo raises questions about grief, privilege, and the importance of queer community. Directed by EE Kihlstrand as part of a series of graduation films from the Stockholm University of the Arts, this film delves into the complexities of human connection and the power of shared experiences. As Jane and Dilo navigate their intertwined lives, they confront their pasts and challenge societal norms. Som vi har älskat is a poignant exploration of love, loss, and the search for belonging in an ever-changing world.
