Space Chimps 2: Zartog Strikes Back is an animated adventure film that follows Comet, a techno chimp with dreams of becoming a respected space explorer. He is finally given the opportunity to prove himself when he embarks on a mission to the Planet Malgor.

Comet's mission is to retrieve a mysterious device known as the Space Squid that has been stolen by the villainous Zartog. Zartog, a power-hungry primate, plans to use the device to take over the universe. Joined by his fellow space chimps Ham, Luna, and Titan, Comet must navigate the dangerous planet and outsmart Zartog to save the galaxy.

On Planet Malgor, Comet and his team encounter a variety of strange and humorous alien creatures, as well as facing numerous challenges along the way. They also meet Kilowatt, a sassy alien who assists them in their quest.
