They travel across the United States in a beautifully restored RV, taking odd jobs to sustain their nomadic lifestyle. However, their journey takes an unexpected turn when a tragic event separates Nola from her father. She sets out on her own, heading to Albuquerque, New Mexico, in search of her long-lost mother.
